Our Academic Curriculum
Rooted in the National Curriculum, our approach is tailored to meet each student’s academic and emotional needs. Through small-group teaching and one-on-one support for life skills, they can work towards GCSEs and Entry Level Qualifications at their own pace.
Vocational Training
Our vocational programmes equip students with practical skills, integrating initiatives like the Duke of Edinburgh Award and BTECs. Regular progress meetings with parents and staff ensure students stay on track with their goals.

What is an ECHP?
An EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) is a personalised plan for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). It details the support they need across education, health, and care services, ensuring they have the right assistance to help them succeed.

An EHCP for children and adolescents is a tailored plan that focuses on their unique needs across education, health, and care. For younger children, it facilitates early intervention and the right support to build a strong foundation for learning. For adolescents, it helps them navigate more complex challenges as they transition to adulthood, supporting their academic, personal, and social development.

How does SofiNo Education make sure every student’s EHCP is fully supported?
We incorporate each student’s Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) into their personalised learning journey. Our team regularly conducts formative and summative assessments to track progress against individual targets, ensuring students receive the support they need. Their progress is discussed at staff meetings, shared with parents and stakeholders, and any necessary adjustments are made to their EHCP to reflect their growth and support continued progress.

After receiving your enquiry, we’ll get in touch to discuss your child’s needs and explain how SofiNo Education can provide the right support.
EHCP Assessment
If your child has an EHCP, we’ll conduct a thorough assessment to determine if we can meet their needs. We’ll then confirm whether a placement is offered, and if not, provide the rationale. Any placement offer will be sent to the placing authority for review.
Enrolment
Once the Local Authority confirms the placement, we’ll work closely with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure your child has a positive start to their learning journey.
